Striving to be the Workplace Of Choice

Our workforce of about 550 people makes us the fourth-largest employer in Sweetwater County.

You'll find MHSC nestled in the scenic high-desert region of southwestern Wyoming, home to many diverse recreational outdoor activities. We are within a short drive to amazing places such as Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Killpecker Sand Dunes, the Wind River Mountain Range, and Yellowstone National Park.

Sweetwater County is also home to Western Wyoming Community College, which offers a wide variety of degree and certification programs. The junior college awards one-year certificates in 36 program areas and confers Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Fine Arts (AFA), Associate of Nursing (AN), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees, and a few four-year degrees in partnership with the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

MHSC is a 99-bed acute care facility that includes a 25-bed Emergency Department that sees an average of 17,000 ER visits per year. The hospital, its numerous clinics, and wide variety of services makes it a great place to work in Sweetwater County.

We are always looking for healthcare professionals, clinical workers and a variety of specialists to join our skilled workforce. If you are interested in becoming a part of the MHSC family, please take the time to look at the opportunities we have available today.
