The junior college awards one-year certificates in 36 program areas and confers Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Fine Arts (AFA), Associate of Nursing (AN), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees, and a few four-year degrees in partnership with the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

MHSC is a 99-bed acute care facility that includes a 25-bed Emergency Department that sees an average of 17,000 ER visits per year. The hospital, its numerous clinics, and wide variety of services makes it a great place to work in Sweetwater County.
