MHSC Medical staff elects officers

Dr. Alicia Gray will serve as incoming Chief of Staff
The Medical Staff of Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County recently elected new officers for the coming year.
During a recent meeting, the medical staff elected Hospitalist Alicia Gray, M.D., as chief of staff, and Internal Medicine Specialist Israel Stewart, D.O., as vice chief of staff. Otolaryngologist David Liu MD, will serve as secretary/treasurer. General Surgeon Brianne Crofts, M.D., will serve as immediate past president.
The MHSC Medicine Department re-elected Radiation Oncologist Joshua Binks, M.D., as chairman, and Pulmonologist Rasheel Chowdhary, MD, as vice chairman.
The MHSC Surgery Department re-elected Orthopedic Surgeon Tony Pedri, M.D., as chairman, and Anesthesiologist Benjamin Jensen, D.O., as vice chairman.
The Medical Staff Executive Committee is comprised of the medical staff officers, including the immediate past president and the two department chairs. Chief Medical Officer Melinda Poyer, D.O., is employed by the hospital and serves on the committee as an ex-officio member.
