Meet the Team: Cassie Grisham

Cassie Grisham has been part of Sweetwater Memorial's team for about a year and recently accepted a lead position in Environmental Services.

She says the hospital’s mission of Compassionate Care for Every Life We Touch “means we must understand that every person we come into contact with is going through something that we cannot see ourselves. We need to be ready for any situation with an open heart and mind to be able to help our patients with their needs.”

You were recently promoted to a lead in Environmental Services. What does your job entail? My job is to provide a clean environment for our patients, visitors, and staff, and to help with day-to-day duties within my department, providing support to the leadership team when needed and supporting the Environmental Services team with anything that may arise.

What do you like most about your job? What I like most about my job is being able to help others with their needs and help others succeed in their day-to-day duties.

How long have you been involved with the hospital’s Person-Centered Care committee and why did you join? I have been a part of the Person-Centered Care committee for right around six months. I joined this committee to make a difference in my day-to-day duties, to help others to see the good in the environment around us, and to also improve myself and the skill set that I have, using what I learned while on this committee to better help those around me.

When you’re not at work, how do you spend your time? When I am not at work, I spend my time with my family and friends. If not with any of them, then I am at home working on crafts, listening to music or reading a book.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you. Something most people don't know about me is that I am the same age as my brother for 2 months out of the year.
