Hospital visitation is limited

Hospital visitation is limited

When coming to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County to visit friends and family, there may be a delay in order to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff.

Sweetwater Memorial healthcare professionals are monitoring the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and are adjusting their protocols as needed. Be aware that restrictions may become more limited in the future. Check sweetwatermemorial.com for daily updates.

As of today, Thursday, March 12, we respectfully ask that you:

• Limit visitation. Nurses and staff may limit your visit or ask that only one person at a time visit.

• Please limit the number of family and/or friends who accompany you to your doctor’s appointment. Waiting rooms are small. If you are dropping off a patient, it’s best to not remain in the waiting room. Medical staff can call when the patient’s visit is complete.

• That you do not go directly to the hospital or one of its clinics for symptoms including a cough or high fever, we ask that you please first contact your primary care provider. Please do not go directly to the hospital or your provider.

If you are unable to reach your primary care provider, please call Sweetwater Memorial's hotline at 307-522-8523. The hotline is available 24/7. Health professionals will be available to discuss your symptoms and address concerns regarding COVID-19 to determine if a visit or further testing is necessary.
