Emergency Care

Quality Emergency Services Close to Home

For all emergencies, please dial 911.

The Emergency Department of Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care during times of stress and urgency.

MHSC currently contracts with University of Utah Health to provide Emergency Department physicians and providers. Our emergency room is staffed with at least one physician and a supportive group of nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our highly skilled physicians and nurses are trained providers of ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).

Serving an average of 23,000 patients each year, we are designated by the state of Wyoming as an Area Trauma Hospital. We also coordinate with air ambulance services out of Salt Lake City for critical patients needing procedures or services that are above the capabilities of MHSC.

For all emergency services, any age group, acute or minor illnesses, our staff is here to comfort and serve you.
