The Pulmonary Lab consists of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment needed to perform the necessary tests and protocols for accurate diagnosis of pulmonary conditions.

Tests We Provide

• Spirometry – pre- and post-bronchodilator
• Diffusing Capacity of the Lungs for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO)
• Body Plethysmography (BodyBox)
• Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV)
• Maximum inspiratory pressure and maximum expiratory pressure measurements
• 6-minute walk test
• Arterial blood gas measurement (ABG)
• Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) is a procedure that records the electrical activity of the heart:
  • This is a walk-in procedure (no appointment necessary)
  • Weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Cardiovascular Stress Testing provides measurable feedback about the function of the heart
• Holter/Event Monitoring, which records heart rhythms from 24-72 hours or 14-30 days for an in-depth look at heart activity
