Health Fairs
Health Fair prices for a variety of services are offered on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays. Check out what we have to offer.
Body Composition
Our Hologic Discovery DXA machine gives Sweetwater Memorial the opportunity
to provide high-quality Body Composition Scans, which determine the percentages
of fat, bone and muscle in the human body.
Body fat percentage is of most interest because it’s helpful in assessing
health. Lowering the percentage can contribute to a stronger immune system
and can reduce your health risk for common chronic diseases and conditions
such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and some cancers.
Get your
body comp for $85 as part of our Health Fair offerings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It’s
by appointment only. Call 307-352-8187. For details, go to sweetwatermemorial.com.

Here is a list of pricing for Health & Wellness testing ONLY, which
is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays. No appointment is necessary.
- Complete Wellness Panel - Comprehensive Chemistry Panel, $37: This includes
a CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel), lipid panel and uric acid. This
panel provides important information about cholesterol, the current status
of metabolism, including kidney and liver health, as well as electrolyte
and acid/base balance, plus glucose and blood protein levels.
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), $25: The CMP includes glucose, calcium,
albumin, total protein, sodium, potassium, CO2, chloride, BUN, creatinine,
alkaline phosphatase, ALT, AST, and bilirubin.
- Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP), $20: Basic metabolic panel includes 8 different
tests that provide information on the status of the body’s metabolism.
This test includes glucose, calcium, sodium, potassium, CO2, chloride,
BUN, creatinine.
- Blood type (ABO and Rh), $20
- CBC with Differential, $20: A CBC, complete blood count, measures red blood
cells, platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit and white blood cells. A CBC
differential measures the number of each type of white blood cell. CBCs
can be used to detect infections, anemia, diseases of the immune system,
leukemia and other disorders. CBCs also can be used to monitor medications,
chemotherapy or other health conditions.
- CBC without Differential, $8: A CBC, complete blood count, measures red
blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit and white blood cells.
- Ferritin, $20: Iron is stored in a protein called ferritin. Ferritin is
used to monitor total body iron stores.
- Flu A and B (nucleic acid amplification), $80: This molecular test, more
accurate than a rapid flu test, detects genetic material from the influenza
A and influenza B viruses.
- Folic Acid, $15: Folate is one of the B vitamins. The folic acid test is
used to detect anemia or neuropathy, evaluate nutritional status, or monitor
treatments.
- G/C Chlamydia (nucleic acid amplification), $100: Gonorrhea and chlamydia
are common bacterial sexually transmitted diseases and can infect both
men and women. They can cause serious complications and if not treated
can be spread to others.
- Glucose, $10: The primary source of energy for all body tissues. This is
a measure of sugar levels in your blood. A fasting glucose of greater
than 126 mg/dL on more than one occasion is diagnostic of diabetes.
- Hemoglobin A1C, $25: Hemoglobin A1C is a form of hemoglobin in which a
glucose is attached. Hemoglobin A1C measures the three-month average blood
glucose concentration. A1C is used to diagnose and monitor diabetes. An
A1C greater than 6.5% on more than one occasion is diagnostic of diabetes.
- Hepatic Function Panel, $20: This liver function test is used to screen,
detect, evaluate, and monitor acute and chronic liver inflammation, liver
infection, liver disease and/or liver damage. This test includes albumin,
total protein, ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin.
- Hepatitis C, $25: Detects antibodies against hepatitis C virus (HCV). The
infection can last a lifetime and may lead to liver damage, liver cancer
and death. Most people who are infected with hepatitis C don’t have
any symptoms for years. Individuals with the HCV may be capable of transmitting
it to others. Most individuals born between 1945 through 1965 should be
tested for hepatitis C. Effective treatment is available.
- HIV, $25: The Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection may lead to AIDS.
Effective treatment is available.
- Iron Panel (Iron + TIBC), $25: Measures iron and total iron binding capacity
in the blood and is used in detecting iron deficiency anemia, thalassemia,
nutritional status, and disorders of iron metabolism.
- Infectious Mononucleosis, $15: Detects the viral infection of mononucleosis.
- Lipid Panel, $25: A lipid panel measures the level of total cholesterol,
HDL, LDL and triglycerides.
- Measles (rubeola) IgG, $25: May be used as evidence of vaccination.
- OB Panel with HIV, $145: An obstetric (prenatal) panel is a group of blood
tests done to check the health of a woman during early pregnancy. This
test includes: CBC with differential, blood type and antibody screen,
hepatitis B surface antigen, rubella antibody, RPR and HIV.
- Potassium, $10: Potassium is a mineral that your body needs. It helps your
nerves to function, muscles to contract, and cells to function. Potassium
is monitored during certain disease conditions and while taking certain
medications.
- Pregnancy, $20: Confirms a pregnancy by detecting human chorionic gonadotropin,
a hormone secreted by a developing placenta.
- Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), $28: The PSA test is used to detect abnormalities
of the prostate gland. The test is specific for the prostate. Elevated
levels may be caused by diseases of the prostate, such as benign prostatic
hypertrophy, prostatitis and prostatic cancer. Further testing may be
indicated.
- PT/INR, $15: Prothrombin time (PT) and the accompanying international normalized
ratio (INR) are usually used to monitor individuals who are taking the
blood thinner warfarin. Coumadin is a brand name of warfarin.
- Strep A (nucleic acid amplification), $45: This molecular test is more
accurate than a rapid strep test. While most sore throats are caused by
viruses, some people develop streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat)
from a bacterium. Strep throat is contagious and if not detected and treated,
some may develop secondary complications, such as rheumatic heart disease
or kidney damage, especially in children.
- Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), $28: TSH is a hormone the body uses
to regulate metabolism. TSH testing is used to screen for thyroid disorders
and to monitor treatment of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
- T4 Free, $20: Free T4 is a thyroid hormone the body uses to control the
