Hematology & Medical Oncology

In the Hematology/Medical Oncology department at Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center, our mission is to reduce the burden of cancer statewide through prevention, treatment and education. We strive to meet the many physical and emotional needs of cancer patients and their families through outstanding medical care, provided with compassion and concern.

We offer convenient, timely appointments, and state-of-the art treatment close to home, combined with personalized treatment plans based on your medical condition and national guidelines. Our infusions are administered by experienced, compassionate chemotherapy-certified nurses. We have an inviting chemotherapy suite with private chemotherapy pods outfitted with comfortable recliners, personalized TV sets, and beautiful views of Wyoming’s desert landscape.

Cancer treatment is provided with immunotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. Our treatment is backed by best practices and leading-edge protocols. We offer broad access to educational materials for specific diseases. We recently became the first Wyoming cancer center to offer clinical trials through the SWOG and ALLIANCE networks.
